Instructions
 

  • Cook the Pasta: Boil spaghetti until al dente, drain, and set aside.
  • Make the Cheese Sauce: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt vegan butter. Add flour and stir until smooth. Gradually whisk in plant milk, stirring until thickened. Add vegan cheese and Italian seasoning.
  • Prepare the Vegan Meat Sauce: Sauté onion and garlic until soft. Add vegan ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in marinara sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Assemble: In a casserole dish, layer half the spaghetti, followed by the meat sauce, cheese sauce, and remaining spaghetti. Top with more cheese.
  • Bake: Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly.
