- 1 medium green cabbage cut into wedges
- 1½ pounds potatoes halved
- 1 onion sliced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon mustard seeds
- 1 teaspoon coriander seeds
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup cold water
- Salt to taste
