Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz spaghetti pasta regular, whole wheat, or gluten-free
  • 1 medium yellow onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger optional
  • 1 cup Trader Joe’s Thai Peanut Satay Sauce
  • 24 oz tomato sauce
  • 16 oz IKEA vegan meatballs about 20–24 pieces
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes optional, for heat
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika optional, for depth
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley or cilantro optional garnish
  • 2 tablespoon chopped peanuts optional garnish

Instructions
 

  • Cook the Noodles – Boil spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  • Sauté the Aromatics – Heat olive oil in a skillet, then add chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until fragrant and golden.
  • Season with Spices – Add a pinch of chili flakes, black pepper, or smoked paprika.
  • Add Tomato Sauce – Pour in tomato sauce and simmer for a few minutes to thicken slightly.
  • Roast the Vegan Meatballs – Bake IKEA vegan meatballs per package instructions until heated through and lightly crisp.
  • Combine and Finish – Toss spaghetti in the skillet with the tomato sauce. Add meatballs, drizzle with Trader Joe’s Thai Peanut Satay Sauce, and gently mix until coated.
